Four ducklings, one 21 month old, and a small tub of water.
Christy decided to bring home some ducks that her classroom hatched last week; Elias could not keep his eyes off them. We decided to get them out in the warm sun and bath them. Elias hovered over the tub and made sure there were plenty of waves. Christy let a duck out of the bath but Elias immediately grabbed it and threw it back in. He then grabbed one in the water and then threw it back in again. Soon enough, he was trying to drink the water.

At dinner that night, I looked into the kitchen and saw all the magnetic letters lined up. I asked Lindsay and Christy if they did it...nope. I guess Elias learned a lesson from the ducks?
