The Boys

My family keeps requesting some new photos of Liam (and Elias) so here are a few from the last couple of weeks.  If you were wondering, both boys slept throught the historic 5.8 earthquake...so maybe they aren't light sleepers after all.  I had a pretty good ride at my office...it was a bit surreal.  I experienced a few earthquakes eartlier this year in New Zealand, but I was sleeping during both of them.  This felt much more intense.  We did some damage assessment at our campus.  There was a bit of minor damage plus some medium damage to one wall of our auditorium.   

 

Warsaw-ed

The first weekend in August one of my best friends from college (Parker) brought his family (Kasia and Tristan) down for a weekend visit.  They were in Pittsburgh for the summer visiting family, but reside in Warsaw, Poland.  The follow are some pictures of our visit to Great Falls National Park and a few others.

Penalty Box

Elias decided to craw into our friend's dog cage, close the door, and lay down.  Then he would get up, crawl out, and do it all over again.  Life as a 23 month old....

Grapes

I dont know what normal is, but Elias can currently count to about 13.  However, sometimes he takes liberties on his counting...perhaps this is because we live so close to DC!  Here is a video of him counting and eating grapes.
