Prague
I have wanted to go to Prague since the summer of 2001 when I backpacked across Europe with my sister and her friend. Everyone raved about how nice and cheap it was. Fast forward 12 years and 2.5 kids later, I (we) finally made it at the end of March (this was on the tail end of our trip to Poland, which I will have to make another post on). If it was cheap then, it must have been really cheap because it is still reasonably cheap now = eat a nice meal for 15 bucks or drink a huge beer for a few bucks. Not the bargain bin some places in Asia are (e.g, Cambodia), but by far cheaper then Western Europe. It just so happened that Wendy, one of Christy's best friends who taught in the Philippines with her, was making a visa run (with her friend Natalie) to Prague the same time Lindsay and I planned on being there. It was Christy's spring break so she meet up with Wendy and Natalie and toured the Czech Republic for 4 days then met Lindsay and I in Prague for 3 days. I took a lot of photos...and tried to filter through to some of the better ones...
